I was captain of my last highschool. I really want to earn a basketball scholarship so I need to make a good friendship with them. Isn't basketball season over? Anyways, go to the tryouts. Ask the players if you can practice with them. Don't mention that you were captain of your last school or else they'll think you're going to try to show everyone else up.
