All right, here's the truth. If people tell you that Jordans are good for basketball, it's not really true. Really, they look good to walk around in; they're not exactly great for games, mainly because you're worried about messing up your $175 shoe. Honestly, the best shoes I have ever worn to play in a game is the Huarache 2K4 and 2K5. It had great ankle support, and the form of the shoe was very comfortable, and it's really hard to find a comfortable shoe for me. If you want to pick the one that just plain looks better, then go with the 2K5; it looks just fine. The only problem is finding a four year old shoe. Luckily, Nike just re-released them. You could check out Eastbay and NikeID; I recently saw a funky snake-skin version of the 2K4. They also released the lasered 2004 Kobe "Championship" design last year.

for me...i always buy nike's and air jordans...since i jump a lot in basketball...i make sure the shoes i buy are lightweight (mid-cuts for me)...but whatever is comfortable on you will do.
right now...im waiting for kobe's new shoes....hyperdunks...ive read that it weighs 13 ounces only.....hopefully its not expensive....What are good basketball shoes to buy?

I would suggest going to a discount store like Marshalls or TJ Maxx and getting last year's model. You can get a great shoe for a lot cheaper this way.
well the nike elite 2 r awesome for basketball...they look pretty cool and there really comfortable....they have air max,huarache and shox..i would recommend air max
