How long is a front left bearing suppose to last and what is the cost of one?

I had one replaced last year at the dealer where i bought the car and now I took it to Monroe Muffler and they told me it needed replaced again at the dealer I paid 365.00 at Monroe I paid 533.00 just for the part no kidding 533.00|||There is no reason why it shouldnt last over 100k miles. If it lasted only a year something is wrong.|||They are designed to last the lifetime of the car. That said, some do develop problems such as getting noisey or growling. They also need to be replaced if you hit curbs with the wheels or bad accidents. They are actually pretty reliable.|||I would have taken it back to the dealer, since they would have probably done it as a warrenty, and if not you still would have saved money.

I just did a Bearing on the r/r of a Santa Fe, and the total bill was 150.00....including the 20.00 bearing from Autozone.

I would still contact the dealer and let them know.

Good luck|||Dealer should cover it. Note, driving through high water wrecks bearings.
